Spears Gets Her Start
Birth:
December 2, 1981
As
a kid, Britney Spears performed anywhere she could - at church, school
and local TV stations. It wasn't long before Britney Spears started
gaining major attention. Britney Spears audtioned for the Mickey Mouse
Clubpop
history. when she was eight
years old. The producers of the show thought Britney Spears was too
young for the show but they helped hook her up with an agent. Britney
Spears went on to star in Off-Broadway shows and eventually landed the
Mickey Mouse Club gig when she was 11. It was at an audition for an
all-girl singing group that Britney Spears was offered a record deal as
a solo artist - the rest is pop history.
Britney Spears now
has three multi-platinum albums and has starred in her own movie,
Crossroads. Britney Spears' next album was scheduled to come out in
fall of 2003 but its release date has been pushed back. On a personal
note, it's also no secret Britney Spears used to go out with the oh-so
hot Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC. Britney Spears has also been
linked to Colin Farrell and she is now rumoured to be dating married
backup dancer, Columbus Short! However, none of Britney Spears' private
romances have caused as much controversy as her very public make-out session with Madonna at
the MTV Video Music Awards. Looks like Britney's not a little girl
anymore.
